Getting started

What does Pillshelf need?

An iPhone or iPad with iOS 27 or iPadOS 27. Label scanning needs a device with Apple Intelligence turned on; everything else works without it, and you can always type a product in.

How do I add something I take?

Open Regimen, tap +, and choose Scan Label. Scan the label (front first, then the facts panel or prescription label), check the numbers it found, then set how you take it. Every number shows where on the label it came from; tap one to fix it.

Can I change the mealtimes?

Yes. Settings › Times lets you move Breakfast, Dinner, and Evening, add your own times, and turn reminders off for a time. To shift today only, tap a time on Today.

Reminders

I'm not getting reminders.
Can I hide medication names on the Lock Screen?

Yes: turn off Settings › Show Names in Reminders.

Counting pills

How do I get an accurate count?

iCloud and devices

How do I use Pillshelf on iPhone and iPad?

Sign in to the same Apple Account on both and keep iCloud on for Pillshelf. Changes sync in the background, usually within a minute.

I deleted something by mistake.

Settings › Recently Deleted keeps deleted items for 30 days. Tap Restore.

How do I export my data?

Settings › Export writes CSV and Markdown files to a folder you pick and keeps them up to date. To give your doctor a summary, use Regimen › Health › Share Medication List.

Subscriptions

What does it cost?

Pillshelf is free for one week. After that it's $2.99 a month, $19.99 a year, or $49.99 once. Prices may differ by country and are shown in the app before you buy.

How do I cancel?

Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, then Pillshelf. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. You can still open the app, see your history, edit what you have, and export. Logging doses, reminders, label scanning, and pill counting stop until you subscribe again. If your plan is set not to renew, Pillshelf tells you three days and one day before.

I bought it but the app doesn't know.

Open Settings › Subscription in Pillshelf and tap Restore Purchases, signed in to the Apple Account you bought with.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
